In this private experience exploring Kyoto, we will find the city's most important destinations, its most interesting neighborhoods, and surely various treasures will also appear. We will be able to appreciate what was the capital of Japan for over 1000 years and one of the cities untouched by bombs during World War II.
Plan
After meeting at your hotel at the indicated time, we will head to the Silver Pavilion (Ginkaku-ji), starting the walking tour there. We will continue the route, passing through the enormous complex of Nanzen-ji Temple and then proceeding to Yasaka Shrine. Afterwards, we will go to Nishiki Market to taste its typical local food. The next stop is the wonderful Kiyomizu-dera Temple. To get there, we will pass through several traditional streets, allowing us to appreciate their architecture and culture. We will finish the tour by visiting the Geisha district of Gion, and with a bit of luck, we might even see a maiko.
We will conclude the tour by dropping you off at your hotel or at a strategic point so you can continue enjoying yourselves.
